Circa 1999. Back where our Friendship Began!
The Story Begins
Our story began during the Spring Semester of 2001 at Coastal Carolina University. After a brief introduction by mutual friends, soon we became best of friends; literally inseparable at times. We would cut class together just to take long meaningless walks enjoying each others conversation all the while.
THE PROPOSAL
She Said Yes
Of course she did… What else could she have said? Time has shown that we both are not perfect, however we are perfect for each other. We compensate for each others weaknesses. We also compliment each others strenghts. So again… What else could she have said?
Engagement
Our engagement started 13 years ago. (It took 13 years for Tasha’s Background Screening to clear.) For the past 13 years we have rarely contemplated marriage, due to the strength of our current relationship. “If it aint broke, don’t fix it.” We always knew we would one day wed, yet there was no sense of urgency as it pertains to jumping the broom.
Crazy I tell you all of this in the middle of a club; where words tend to get thrown around lightly; like- like, "Love", "Friend," "Rock Star" and "So and So’s a Genius". So him vow to never utter 'Him Do' unless, him mean it.
13 years later and we still Rockin’. Tasha’s background check finally came back and she passed. So NOW its time to do this!
It Is Our Destiny...
Finding a soulmate is probably more luck than destiny. We knew this time would come and now we embrace it and are ready to Run It Up!
Now that we have finally decided to exchange vows, we would be overjoyed if our friends and family come to share this special day with us.
